ARC is supporting our Associate Artist Audrey Cook to produce their new show, Bus Stop Goths, premiering at ARC in April.
Audrey is looking to cast for the part of Viv, to devise and perform Bus Stop Goths.
Viv and Sid are best friends and co-workers from an otherworldly mythical plain of existence – washed up punks with a youthful and anarchic spirit. The show, and in turn the characters, are playing with archetypes indicative of Bill and Ted, The Young Ones, Good Omens.
Casting age: 20-30
Gender: for trans/non binary/genderqueer performers (any other identities within the trans umbrella are welcome!)
Experience: must have experience and expressed interest in working in a devised theatre process. Alongside being a performer, you will be a valued creative voice throughout the rehearsal process
Location: The performance has direct links to the North East region, in humour and in spirit. Performers who are from, live, or have lived in the North East are essential. Rehearsals and performances will take place at ARC Stockton
Fee: £1,950 total
Rehearsal/Creation Dates: Mon 8 Apr – Wed 24 Apr (working Mon-Fri and half days on Saturdays)
Performance Dates: Thur 25 Apr – Fri 26 Apr
