Join award-winning folk duo Megson in a unique collaboration with playwright & actor Kieran Knowles.

A journalist at The Herald uncovers the life stories of its readers whilst searching for the scoop that will make his career. Megson’s songs come to life as the stories, whilst Knowles’ narrative looks to answer what purpose the media has in the 21stcentury. Four times nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Megson gained a reputation not only for their evocative songwriting but for their exquisite musicianship and northern humour. Bruntwood prize longlisted Kieran Knowles’s play Operation Crucible (2013-2021) appeared all over the world gaining a New York Times Critics pick. Joining them will be acclaimed double bass player John Parker
