We have now launched a new bespoke booking service to help shielding communities feel confident visiting ARC, whether that’s to attend events, screenings, and classes, or to stop in for a coffee and take in the latest exhibition in our gallery.

The service is designed to offer additional information and advice around arrival times, toilet locations, and quieter waiting areas, and possibility of arranging socially distanced waiting areas and seating, separate entry to the venue including alternate entrances such as the stage door, and assistance to avoid queuing for refreshments during events.

Why we’re introducing the service

At ARC we are continuing to practice a number of measures to reduce the spread of COVID, including mask wearing, and enhanced cleaning procedures. You can see more about our COVID safety measures here.

However, we realise that shielding communities may still require more information and support before deciding to pay us a visit. Our new bespoke booking and enquiry service will help answer questions about visiting ARC, and provide a way for arrangements to be made in advance to enable shielding communities to visit in a way that feels comfortable and safe.

How to access the service

The service can be accessed by calling our Box Office on 01642 525199, or emailing [email protected] to arrange a call back.

There is no obligation to book a ticket during the call, as the intention is to share information to help you make a decision about whether to visit ARC.

Accessing our creative programme digitally

Alongside these measures we’re also continuing to offer much of our work digitally. We realise for some people, attending in person still won’t be an option for the time being, but still want to provide a way to engage with as much of what ARC has to offer as possible.

This includes a mix of work created specifically made for digital access, many of our regular classes, and wherever possible work we’re presenting on our stage.
