“I am really looking forward to seeing The Zoo That Comes to You. The puppets look absolutely incredible. I think children of all ages, and adults alike will love them! The story sounds really fun with some serious themes around conservation. I can’t wait!”

The Zoo That Comes to You will be at ARC on Sat 5 Feb at 11.30am and 2.30pm

Amandheep Dillon | Bigger Picture Programme Manager

“I’m looking forward to two of our upcoming screenings. The first film, Miss Man, is the story of a young trans woman from rural Bengal and the challenges she faces during her transition. We’ve teamed up with Curious Arts and Hart Gables to also show a panel discussion following the film, and a pre-recorded Q&A with the film’s director. Another film that I’m looking forward to is Not Today, which is about a young woman from a traditional Muslim family who secretly becomes a suicide prevention counsellor, it tackles a lot of subjects and raises awareness for mental health issues.”

Miss Man will be screened on Sat 12 Feb at 7.30pm

Not Today will be screened on Sat 26 Feb at 7.30pm
