July at ARC

July at ARC begins with a magical Needle Felt workshop! Led by professional crafter Carol Lonsdale, this beginner friendly workshop will give you the opportunity to make a beautiful Needle Felt Unicorn. Plus, in our Bullet Journaling and Calligraphy workshop, you can create some eye-catching journal spreads and to-do lists!

Cinema-goers can enjoy a wide range of screenings from War Pony to Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and we’re really looking forward to a dementia supportive screening of The Wizard of Oz, in association with Teesside Dementia Link Services. Also, don’t forget our regular programme of family films which this month includes The Little Mermaid and Boonie Bears: Guardian Code.

Local musical comedian Eppie Brilliant will be bringing their debut show, What’s Your Favourite Song?, to our stage. Eppie worked on the show here last year as an artist in residence, and we can’t wait to welcome them back. If that’s not enough comedy to tickle your funny bones, the inimitable Matt Reed will be returning to the stage to host Catch 22 Comedy Club. He’ll be joined by Jack Gleadow, Frances Keyton, and Roger Monkhouse.

It’s a great month for music with a sold-out gig from legendary folk-rock pioneers Lindisfarne!

Our friends at Crossing the Tees Book Festival will be hosting a free virtual author talk with Dr Helen Fry, author of Spymaster.

As part of Stockton Pop Up Pride Audrey Cook will be performing Ricky the Itch. This show was originally part of the SIRF Commissions Programme and was a sell-out success in it’s first run at SIRF 2022, so we can’t wait to have it here on our stage! This show will be BSL interpreted.

Elsewhere, our regular classes and activities for adults continue as usual – join us for everything from Tai Chi and Ballet Pilates to Singers, ARCulele, and more!

Find out more about everything that’s on this month at ARC, and we look forward to welcoming you soon!
